A hectic tail end to the season saw an injury ravaged Whaley Bridge team secure a dramatic draw against Buxton Town, infront of a massive crowd at Fairfield, to clinch a magnificent double; the Derbyshire Divisional Cup and the HV Premier League.

WBAFC's Committee extend congratulations to the entire squad for a maginficent season and in particular to the management team Darryl Hall (Head Coach) & Jon Brogden; Miles Drayson & Paul Jeffs for their effort and dedication throughout this toughest of seasons; thanks also to the entire backroom staff for their important and sterling support behind the scenes.

 Congratulations also go to Whaley Bridge U16s who won the Stockport Metro Division 4 yesterday drawing 1-1 with Blue Star Galaxy; Kieron Shuker scoring the important goal that gives the U16s stats a similar look to the seniors' having lost only once and drawing but twice in their respective leagues.
