Whaley Bridge Football Club is looking for the next generation of girls footballers.
The club which achieved ‘Community Charter Standard’ earlier in the year already has an established link with the Derbyshire Girls and ladies league. The club will be entering a new U12’s team and the U14’s will be looking to continue their not insignificant success next year. We are also looking at entering additional teams at teams the U10’s and U11’s age groups (2011/12).
For younger girls whilst their may not be a formal team we are looking to provide training in a fun and safe environment.
As a community standard club all coaches will be FA qualified and will also have access to a whole range of advise and experience from within the club or from the FA.
If you are a girl aged 6 – 13 or a parent with a girl who would be interested in taking part in the fastest growing participation sport in the country then please get in touch. If you want an informal chat about girls football and how you or your daughter / granddaughter / niece can get involved please contact Samantha Bracey.
If you want to come along then Dean Campbell will be continuing training during the summer on a Thursday evening 5pm – 6pm up at Whaley Pitch for girls aged upto 11 (up to school year 7 (sept 11).
For girls aged 12 -14 (Sept 11 school years 8 and 9). Steve Hopley / Paul Stanton will be holding training on a Wednesday at Whaley pitch 6:00pm - 7:30pm and winter training from the 4th October at Chapel Leisure centre at 7:30. The U14's are looking for a new no 1 keeper for the coming season.
